POSITIONS AVAILABLE

Mountain Waterworks is seeking to strengthen its team by offering the following opportunities in our Boise and Lewiston locations:

WATER/WASTEWATER PROJECT ENGINEER (P.E. or E.I.T. with 3-10 years’ experience)

·         EDUCATION AND QUALIFICATIONS - The ideal candidate will have a strong background in Civil Engineering with an emphasis in water and wastewater engineering and utility operation. At a minimum, the successful candidate will possess a Bachelor’s degree in civil engineering (or closely related field). Advanced degrees specializing in water and wastewater engineering are preferred.  Experience with municipal utility management, system operation and project financing are beneficial.  Excellent communication skills both verbal and written are required.

PART-TIME ADMINISTRATIVE 2-Lewiston Office

 

The ideal candidate will have a background in professional work environments and will maintain the Lewiston office’s lobby area by greeting and directing all visitors, including vendors, clients, and postal/courier service carriers. Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, are required for this position along with an advanced proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook, and Adobe

·         RESPONSIBILITIES:

    • Drafting and/or proofing correspondence to clients and vendors, document scanning and organizing, formatting Word and Adobe documents, data entry, and other office duties, as requested.
    • Assisting the Lewiston Office Manager with outbound documents to clients and various agencies, as needed.
    • Assisting the Company’s engineering staff with document formatting, including creating a table of contents, inserting  “Captions”, formatting documents using “Styles”, “Design”, “Page Layout”, etc. and other commands in Word and Excel. 
    • Additional general office duties may include filing (electronically and hard copy) documents, answering and transferring inbound phone calls, daily pick-up, sort and distribution of mail, out-of-office delivery errands (as requested by the Lewiston Office Manager and/or engineering staff) and pick-up of documents, maps, etc. and managing office supplies (as requested by the Lewiston Office Manager).

·         QUALIFICATIONS:

    • Detailed knowledge of Microsoft Office (Outlook, Excel, and Word) and Adobe are required.
    • Excellent and effective communication skills, both verbal and written, including the ability to correspond in appropriate business language are required for this position.
    • Professional, courteous, dependable, flexible, and ethical attributes are required in this role.
    • The successful candidate will have a positive attitude, ability to learn quickly, take direction, and have strong interoffice skills.
    • Demonstrated strong organizational and administrative skills are a must.
    • Consulting firm experience is advantageous for this position, but is not required.

·         EDUCATION:

    • At a minimum, the successful candidate will possess a high school diploma.

·         HOURS, PAY RATE, AND BENEFITS:

    • This position is flexible and will begin as part-time (average of 20 hours/per week) with the possibility of moving into a full-time position.
    • This is a part-time position, with no benefits package.
    • The pay range for this position is $15.00 to $18.00/per hour.
    • NOTE: The candidates’ proficiency in various software applications will be evaluated prior to an offer of part-time employment.

CADD POSITIONS-Boise Office 
  

·         EDUCATION AND QUALIFICATIONS - The ideal candidate will have an Associate's degree in drafting. Positions available are for entry level to 3 years' experience of demonstrated strong competence in AutoCAD Civil 3D. Responsibilities include preparing CAD drawings using AutoCAD Civil 3D; analysis of sketches, notes and other input from project managers to determine and plan for the best approach to complete drawings; preparing finished drawings from complex sketches, notes, layout, details, and verbal instructions; strictly adhering to CAD standards and requirements on a project-by-project basis; closely working with project managers and engineers to ensure timely project completion within allocated budgets; managing CAD flow of work. The candidate will have the ability to work in a fast-paced environment, be committed to project schedules and deadlines, and be able to work both independently and within a team environment, as required.
